Checking HC/HCD Lens AF Compatibility with X1D-50c XH Adapter

H6D System

• Mount the selected lens on to the camera.
• Press the General Settings icon on the sensor unit display. The General settings screen appears. (See figure 1)
• Select the About item from the displayed list.
• The About dialogue box will appear. (see figure 2)
• The lens firmware version is displayed.

X1D-50c System

• Mount the selected lens on to the camera.
• Press the General Settings icon on the sensor unit display. The General settings screen appears. (See figure 1)
• Select the About item from the displayed list.
• The About dialogue box will appear. (see figure 3)
• The lens firmware version is displayed.

If the displayed firmware version displayed is v18.0.0 or later the lens firmware can be updated to enable autofocus with the X1D-50c.

If the displayed firmware version is lower than v18.0.0, unfortunately the lens firmware cannot be updated to enable autofocus. Focus assist will be available when manually focusing.
